Merchandising trends Spain: Week 35/2026

The Spanish market this week

Week 35 is the week everyone comes back. In Spain, the last days of August are when marketing and HR reopen two files at the same time: the September hires, who already have a start date, and the last quarter budget, which is still unallocated.

The enquiries reaching us these days share a clear pattern: mid-size runs of 100 to 300 units, simple one-colour or laser branding, and a delivery date that is already fixed. That is no coincidence. Whoever orders now is covering two fronts that land almost back to back, the return to the office and the start of the autumn trade fair season, which in Spain clusters into the last weeks of September and the first of October.

The practical consequence is about the calendar, not the product. If the material has to be on a stand in late September, the decision happens this week: shipping within mainland Spain takes 3 to 5 working days and branding time has to be added on top.

Featured product: Manet drawstring backpack

The Manet backpack (ref. 20891) is the item that best solves that double September demand, because it works equally well as an office welcome pack or as a delegate bag. It is a drawstring backpack, 30 x 45 centimetres with a 14 centimetre gusset, weighing 340 grams, so it can be handed out without becoming a logistics problem on a stand.

Prices start at 2.58 euros per unit, which places it in the useful-gift bracket rather than the token-gift one. There are more than 173,000 units in stock across ten colours: blue, navy, green, white, black, red, light blue, fuchsia, orange and yellow. That range matters more than it seems when a client brand manual only allows two Pantones.

It sits in the catalogue’s sustainable range, which is the argument that today gets this kind of purchase through a procurement department without friction.

B2B use cases we are seeing

These are the three briefs that repeat most at this time of year, described as patterns rather than named clients:

Upcoming trade fairs in Spain

These are the dates confirmed in the official IFEMA Madrid calendar for the coming weeks, which set the rhythm of merchandising orders:

If your company or your client exhibits at any of the September shows, the window to order with standard branding and still arrive with margin closes in the first days of the month.

Request a quote

If you have a fair in the diary or a batch of September hires, tell us quantity, colours and delivery date and we will come back with a closed price including branding. The earlier the request lands, the more personalisation options are still on the table.

Next week the brief switches market and moves to France, with the rentrée and its own calendar of trade shows.
